Shiva Noroozi (b. 1980, Iran) lives and works in Kish Island. She creates a personal and mystical universe where reality merges with dream, myth, and memory. Her paintings invite viewers into ethereal, suspended spaces inhabited by angular human and bird-like figures, existing in states of transition between solitude and transformation. Deeply inspired by the visual and literary traditions of Iran, she treats culture as a living language that informs identity and imagination. Through abstract forms and bold, sometimes dissonant colors, she constructs uncanny yet harmonious atmospheres, evoking both serenity and mystery. The human body plays a central role in her work, often fragmented and abstracted, reflecting a continual negotiation between the physical and the spiritual, the visible and the unseen. Noroozi holds an MFA in Painting and her paintings have been included in solo and group exhibitions both in Iran and internationally. She has also participated in major art fairs such as Art Brussels (2023) and Untitled Art Fair (2022). Her paintings offer open-ended narratives that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and experience subtle emotional and spiritual transformations.
